DEEP PATCHES
Small patch. Targeted care.
Meet your skin’s spiky helper — microneedle acne patches designed for developing blemishes that need more targeted attention.
Ultra-thin patches use tiny dissolving microneedles to help deliver their active ingredients through the outer layer of the skin, right where the patch is applied.
With salicylic acid and tea tree oil, DEEP PATCHES provide focused care for blemish-prone skin — without the need to squeeze, pick or over-treat your skin.
Perfect for:
- developing blemishes
- red or inflamed-looking spots
- “I can feel a pimple coming” moments
- targeted overnight care
HOW TO USE
Use the patch on a developing pimple or blemish as soon as it becomes noticeable.
- Cleanse and dry skin thoroughly
- Apply the patch directly onto the blemish
- Press gently for about 5 seconds
- Leave on for at least 2 hours — overnight is recommended
- Remove gently and discard
Pro tip:
The patch works best on clean, completely dry skin before creams or oils. Pressing the patch firmly onto the skin helps the microneedles make contact with the surface.
And remember — you don’t need to squeeze a pimple just because you can feel it coming.
HOW DOES IT WORK
What the patch helps with:
- Targeted delivery – tiny microneedles help deliver ingredients through the outer skin barrier
- Salicylic acid care – salicylic acid is an established ingredient for blemish-prone skin
- Tea tree oil care – tea tree oil has been studied as a topical ingredient for mild-to-moderate acne
- Focused application – concentrates the patch and its ingredients directly over the blemish
- Helps reduce touching – creates a physical reminder to leave the spot alone
Research on dissolving microneedle patches for acne is still developing, but human studies have reported improvements in inflammatory acne and acne-related skin changes with specific microneedle formulations. The technology is designed to overcome some of the barrier presented by the outermost layer of the skin.
Best used on:
- developing surface blemishes
- red or inflamed-looking pimples
- individual spots that need targeted care
- blemishes you want to leave alone
Not ideal for:
- large areas of acne
- blackheads
- using instead of your regular acne treatment
- broken, irritated or damaged skin
Unlike a traditional hydrocolloid patch that mainly works at the skin’s surface, microneedle technology is designed to create tiny pathways through the outer skin layer and release ingredients locally. Human studies have found dissolving microneedle patches to be generally well tolerated, although temporary local redness can occur.
