This article was created since we got many requests to speak more about allergic substances (see part one in the previous post) and how to recognize them. Plus, this is a topic that is close to our hearth as we created EREZ Organic for people who want natural cosmetic but are prone to allergic reactions to skin products. We understand that there are ingredients that are good for your skin but have a higher chance of allergic reaction.

LIST OF ALLERGENIC SUBSTANCES (Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009)

Note that we will focus only on ingredients that are of natural origin. Mentioning synthetic ingredients would not make much sense and it would take too much space as it’s not used in our EREZ Organic cosmetic! We will sort them by INCI name so that you can recognize them better on the packages. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE INGREDIENTS ARE BAD. You should be cautious if knowing you might be allergic to it.

As you can see the list is quite extensive and consist mostly of fragrances and in some cases preservatives but mostly not in natural cosmetic. We recommend you to save this list and use it when buying a new product.

At this point we can’t stress enough that we build our brand EREZ Organic to help people with Sensitive Skin who have problems finding the right product. We not only avoid the risky ingredients that are causing a reaction but also avoid putting perfume or any other kind of essences to our products (its fragrance-free). This means a bad reaction is much less common (but still can happen of course).
