This is a new cream that we are very proud of to present to you. It took us more than a year to develop as we wanted to create a complete and 100% natural solution for problematic skin. Our Zero Acne cream is loaded with herbal extracts, azelaic and lactic acid, which are ready to heal acne, enlarged pores, blemishes and harmonize the sebum production.
It also gives the skin necessary hydration and nutrients. The cream is suitable for all skin types, even the sensitive skin, thanks to no additional fragrance. It has a very pleasant herbal aroma, which is based on natural essential oils and is absorbed very fast.
HOW DOES AZEALIC ACID COMPARE TO OTHER ACIDS
Everybody has heard about the AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and BHA (Salicylic Acid) but how does the Azelaic acid compare to them? All of those have certain similarities but also some differences. When properly formulated they will all act as good exfoliants but Azelaic acid will be the gentlest of them all.
On the other side, AHA and BHA will not provide benefits for uneven skin tone and other skin issues connected to blemishes. That’s why we chose to use Azelaic acid in our Zero Acne Cream.
THE INGREDIENTS EXPLAINED
Azelaic acid (10 %)
Azelaic acid is a very gentle exfoliant which helps unclogging pores on the skins surface. It also delivers antioxidant benefits and is derived from grains. There are many products out there that contain Azelaic acid but very few have a concentration of 10 % that is in our Zero Acne Cream.
This particular acid has anti-inflammatory effects, which reduce redness and swelling in acne prone skin. It helps against another skin condition commonly knowns as rosacea and it also improves the skin tone.
Lactic Acid
Lactic acid is used in products to exfoliate the skin, improve the fine lines, work on wrinkles and lighten the dark spots. It’s used in our cream as it speeds up the cell turnover and stimulates the cell renewal. With this product we were also considering using AHAs but lactic acid has one big advantage over them as it helps improve the skins natural moisture. Lactic acid is used to fight eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.
Sweet Almond Oil
Sweet Almond Oil heals and soothes dry skin, which is affected by eczema and dermatosis. It is anti-bacterial and non-greasy, which absorbs very fast and is ideal for use in facial care for skin that is sensitive or acne-prone.
Yarrow Extract
Yarrow is a plant that can be found in North America, Asia and Europe. In the past this plant was used to heal wounds and today we use it to help balance skin that is prone to excess oil and blemishes. This is the reason we used it in our cream.
Calendula Oil
Calendula oil helps skin looking smooth and radiant. On top of that it provides anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects.
Other ingredients that we used and are super beneficial:
- Green clay removes excess grease from the skin and stabilizes sebum production
- 6 herbal essential oils support healing effect of the skin
- Echinacea extract provides anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects
HOW TO USE IT
1. Apply a small amount of cream in the morning and evening on clean dry skin.
2. Massage gently until the cream is absorbed.
3. You are ready to go!
