We actually don’t know how to stay young forever but we can share some essential tips to create a skin care routine that can postpone skin ageing.
Our skin composition changes with ageing but there are some tricks that can make your skin feel more energetic and vibrant. There is no magic anti-aging potion but making small smart changes that play a big role in changing the effects that Mother Nature had on our face.
SUN PROTECTION IS ESSENTIAL
This would be our number one tip and the most important one. Back in the past a sunscreen was used only during vacation but now it has become the centerpiece of our routine. Sun will make our skin age more quickly and is responsible for fine lines, uneven texture and wrinkles.
Did you know that the Sun has such an effect on our skin and ageing that they invented a name for it? It’s called photo ageing! We recommend using a broad-spectrum sunscreen on a daily basis (even in winter) and try to find one which has zinc oxide (mineral sunscreen) with SPF of 30 or more.

MOISTURIZE WITH OILS AND VITAMINS
After the age of 40 skin loses the ability to produce natural oils, which keep your skin hydrated. Dry skin will worsen the appearance of fine lines and is recommendable to moisturize your skin daily. This will keep your skin supple and healthier looking. Key ingredients to help your skin look good are vitamins A, B and E.
Vitamin B3 decreases water loss and fights against environmental stress. Vitamin E has anti-inflammatory properties. This helps specially with thinner and sensitive skin.
Because all of those facts we developed our Face-Lifting Oil. A great mixture of other oils, which can deeply penetrate the skin without clogging pores and do its magic inside. It's a perfect antiseptic and contains calcium, iron, potassium, sulphur, vitamins A, B, D and a lot of Vitamin E.
This oil is very rich in vitamin E - it contains 150% more vitamin E than argan oil which makes it perfect fighter against inflammation. It also contains important essential fatty acids including omega 6 and 9, antioxidants, polyphenols, amino acids and vitamin K.
This tip is pretty easy and can result in a healthy skin. Drinking enough water during the day can help your skin glow. The amount of course depends on the person and the activity but never let yourself go thirsty.
Not drinking enough water can result in dry skin and dullness. Caffeine might be responsible for the dryness of your skin. Try an experiment and replace the coffee with water for two weeks to one month and the results should be visible.
Does simple water taste dull? This can be changed by adding fruit slices to it to enhance the flavor.
GENTLE EXFOLIATING – TOO MUCH IS NOT GOOD
There has been a trend over the years that more you exfoliate the better your skin will get, but the reality is far from this. The skin can take only so much exfoliating and if it’s too much it will leave the skin inflamed, red and it will get thinner over time. The right amount and gentle exfoliating can slow down the ageing process, which leads to dull complexion.
That’s why we recommend using gentle exfoliating to increase the skin cell turnover, which will not irritate the skin and is usable also for those with sensitive skin. Peeling based on fruit enzymes is great for delicate and sensitive skin. It does not contain abrasive particles that would scratch or otherwise irritate the skin. It removes dirt and dead skin cells very gently, using fruit acids. Try our Fresh Papaya Peeling, which contains papaya enzymes, olive oil and hyaluronic acid.
This were just the basics and we are planning on more tips and products for maintaining beautiful, glowing and young looking skin. If you want to keep it natural, with ingredients and products not tested on animals, stay tuned!
